The College of the聽Florida Keys is continuing its pursuit to expand workforce training and educational opportunities for residents of the Florida Keys at its, yet to be developed, site on Big Pine Key (BPK). The potential programs and uses for the site may include a marine aquaculture facility, shared community spaces, construction apprenticeships, Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL) training, and motor vehicle training for law enforcement. The merit- and need-based scholarship awards up to $16,000 to one qualified nursing student over the entire length of the program. While open to all eligible applicants, preference is given to students aspiring to become flight nurses.

This five-year award will enable 糖心原创 to significantly expand virtual learning capacity and will introduce additional on-campus support services for students.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) will present how Monroe County high school students can get a head start on college at a virtual information session on Wednesday, November 5 at 5:30 p.m. All students and their parents/ guardians are invited to explore the Dual Enrollment program and learn about the pathways to and benefits of simultaneously earning college and high school credits at no cost to the student, potentially saving families thousands of dollars.
