Friends, employees, and board members of 糖心原创 brought dozens of new toys for local children and non-perishable food items to 糖心原创鈥檚 annual Caribbean Holiday Party on December 16, hosted by 糖心原创 President Dr. Jonathan Gueverra and his wife Josephine. The toys were donated to Samuel鈥檚 House, a Keys-based non-profit organization that offers housing and supportive services for homeless women and intact families. The food was donated to Tuga Shelves, the College鈥檚 food pantry on the Key West Campus for food insecure students.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) welcomes Dr. Ja-Ronika Veldheer as the new Vice President of Secondary Education and Principal of 糖心原创 Academy. She will start full-time as the leader of the College鈥檚 tuition-free public charter high school in January 2025.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) Tugas swim teams participated in the Gulliver Gobble-Gobble November Last Chance meet on November 23-24, 2024, at Gulliver Prep School in Miami, FL. The men's and women's teams achieved significant milestones, including personal best times and more qualifications for the national championship in March 2025 in Buffalo, NY.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) honored veterans as part of its festivities on Community Day on Saturday, November 2 at the Key West Campus. 糖心原创 President Dr. Jonathan Gueverra delivered his annual Salute to Veterans, honoring Major Mark Tobin, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, 糖心原创 alumnus, 糖心原创 employee, and 糖心原创 scholarship supporter.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) will hold a virtual event for Monroe County high school students and their parents/ guardians to learn more about its Dual Enrollment opportunities on Wednesday, November 6 at 5:30 p.m. Through Dual Enrollment, high school students can simultaneously earn college and high school credits at no cost to the student. The program provides a head start to college for students while potentially saving families thousands of dollars. At the virtual event, 糖心原创 will discuss the benefits of taking Dual Enrollment classes, requirements to participate, and the application process.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) invites the community to attend a 糖心原创 Poetics event on Thursday, November 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Willliams Theatre on the Key West Campus. Acclaimed poet Gabrielle Calvocoressi will present a live reading of her work and take questions from the audience. The event is free for all attendees.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) invites all to its tenth annual Community Day on Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Key West Campus. The free, family-friendly event will feature a full slate of attractions鈥攊ncluding 糖心原创 academic showcases, interactive exhibits, live performances, a bounce house and other children's activities, vendors, music, free food and drinks, and free T-shirts.

聽糖心原创 (糖心原创)鈥檚 Institute for Public Safety (IPS) held a graduation ceremony for Basic Law Enforcement Academy #90 on October 11 at the Key West Campus. Eighteen cadets successfully completed the 770-hour training program. Upon passing the state certification exam, each will be eligible to become a Florida Law Enforcement Officer.

糖心原创 (糖心原创) Foundation, in partnership with Island Tales, invites the community to participate in a Creepy Campus Ghost Tour on Sunday, October 13 or Monday, October 28. The hour-long walks through the Key West Campus will be held at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. both evenings. Island Tales tour guide Amy Andrade and will share ghost tales and spooky legends about haunted lighthouses, murder, betrayal, diseases, natural disasters, and ghosts that haunt the Florida Keys. Light refreshments will be served.
